    FWIW StatsCan report

"The StatsCan acreage report showed Canadian wheat planted area totaled 23.58m acres for the 2021 season. That was close to the average estimate of 23.3 million. Of that, 16.48m acres is spring wheat and 5.53m was for durum. Winterkill for the 1.449m acres left 1.37 million acres remaining for winter wheat production."

big swing in Sept HRS, whales pushing the little fish around?

"The Crop Progress report had winter wheat harvest at 33% complete after moving 16% along through the week. Winter wheat conditions dropped one point on the Brugler500 index to 330. NASS also showed spring wheat was 48% headed by 6/27, with conditions falling another 8 points to a Brugler500 score of 269." (this and next's heat won't be helping wheat in N.D. and MT if it's heading already.

also, "The French firm FranceAgriMer saw French wheat at 79% good/ex on 6/21, which was down from 81% last week. The European Commission trimmed their wheat output forecast by 400k MT to 125.8 million. The lighter production estimate meeting increased domestic demand tightened their stocks figure to 10.1 MMT from 10.8 MMT last month."

lots of news reducing wheat harvest, the Sept move doesn't seem justified. I'll wait for new highs.

Does the canola acres seem to jive with what is seen in the countryside? Might not make much of a difference with the forecasted heat for the next two weeks.
