We ended up getting nothing measurable. Went to Humboldt yesterday. Oh my. From about five miles west of our place, to Humboldt itself, what was a promising crop is withering away. Beyond irreversible damage. And that’s just what can be seen from the highway. A normally very productive region. Last weekends rain and the high humidity is so far saving our bacon. But it has to rain and soon. Forecast does look promising. At least in terms of cooler weather…

It’s much the same as Humbolt in the majority of crop areas . That would be more “norm”

Poor canola crop this year means base price next year will put alot of farms in the $700+ range for coverage. Doubt the “allstars” are going to back off....

I have come to the conclusion that unless it’s red yellow or purple on the radar you don’t get anything. It’s like the radar picks up moisture in the clouds and it’s showing green and blue, useless radar system.

First you have to have clouds...those are not very common.

Neighbor cut loose the chopper today. Spraying all cereals. Folicur I assume? What does that cost? If it doesn’t rain, we won’t have moisture to fill what’s there at any rate.
