We ended up getting nothing measurable. Went to Humboldt yesterday. Oh my. From about five miles west of our place, to Humboldt itself, what was a promising crop is withering away. Beyond irreversible damage. And that’s just what can be seen from the highway. A normally very productive region. Last weekends rain and the high humidity is so far saving our bacon. But it has to rain and soon. Forecast does look promising. At least in terms of cooler weather…

Justin Solutions, Gars , even crop insurance could be in tough shape after this year . Especially the first two .... they tend to be insuring the 50,000 ac plus club .
I wonder how deep their pockets are after this yearLast edited by furrowtickler; Jul 4, 2021, 17:09.

Neighbor cut loose the chopper today. Spraying all cereals. Folicur I assume? What does that cost? If it doesn’t rain, we won’t have moisture to fill what’s there at any rate.
