My opinion.
Sprayers went for what they should and most everything else went 10 to 20% high.
There was an item or 2 that seemed soft, like the Cat/Claas 480 and CIH 8010 combines.
Most items were higher houred.
Saskatoon sale has more newer low hour equipment so it could be more telling of farmer sentiment and finances.
Good crops yet in the southeast likely helped the sale as well.
If no real rain in july the fall sales could have some bargains?
If I had a sale booked with no guarantee I would be thinking of postponing it if possible?Last edited by ry0972; Jul 10, 2021, 15:21.

Lots of equipment still going south of the the border ,also many of the old combines went to Mexico . We had a case 1460 years ago. Put it in the producer. Got a call cheque showed up in the mail then one day a truck arrives .Driver says he’s taking it to south Mexico. They love those old combines down there he says . No electronics to screw up and they fix them themselves

I see they sold a JD 9600 combine with over 8000 hours.
I didn't think a combine could ever last that long. Apparently the 9600's reputation is well earned.
How many times would the sheet metal and augers etc have been replaced by now?

Just imagine, if the other notable reputation of JD combines is true, how much grain would have gone out the back in 10,000 hours. Probably enough to have paid for 3 combines that only lasted 1/3 as long...
