They flex with the ground and bounce over rocks amazingly well… and feed great in all conditions! These new reels have much closer spaces between the reel fingers and more bats on the pickup reel so feed everything well. Buddy Wheels mean the cutter bar skims the ground while the header is flexing, no need for lifter fingers! Sure glad we rolled everything at Killam right after seeding as the wheat and Peas will need to be ‘clean shaven’!!!

That aside, guys paid for their air reels here in the 80's. They used to take the bat reels right off and cut anything that was basically 20bu/ac or less with straight air. Turned a 10bu swathed crop into a 13 or 14 bu straight cut crop just with the lack of loss.

Yup gonna be interesting, lots of guys dont have straight cut headers here, I do but still like to swath some. There are lots of crops so short I think they would be tough to pick up behind a swather. I dont like rolling but wish I would have like others have said.

Ya we roll everything thank God this year! we have 974macdons not sure if sure put air on these or just buy some 935fs with them on.
