Ag Canada trims Canola production. Read for a good laugh.

Ag Canada pegged this year’s crop at 19.885 million tonnes, down from the June estimate of 20.05 million but still above the previous year’s output of 18.72 million.

You have to ask why are people employed at Ag Canada and produce such Bullshit reports.

Here is the reality of a total Saskatchewan Crop tour.

15MT at the best with rain to make seeds larger so you don't harvest pepper.

The reality is with no rain for most it's going to be under 15MT now.

Just one stupid farmer that actually went out on his own for the last two years and explored the West from one side to the other and seen with his own eyes the crop wasn't their last year and sure as hell isn't in 2021.

I did it with my own money my own vehicle and my own time.

They do it with a million-dollar budget and a bunch of flunkies.

We have a problem in Canada and it's real easy to see what's going on.

my guess is under 13MMT ....we won't know actual for two years, if ever.

If the 2022 crop comes in better we may never know the true 2021 production.

Market Manipulation at its finest. Last year farmers sold billions of Crops for pennies thanks to slick marketing by grain companies and individuals against farmers. Farmers fell for it and were burnt. This year they have to continue the lie so a 19.7 MT crop. HAHAHAHHAHAHA

**** me Canola is ****ed in most places maybe 13 is closer.

I think the trade doesn't want a scenario like 2008 to happen where wheat went up to $20+ usd. For me with the pathetic crop we have on the way , I think whatever crop I do harvest is going to sit in the bin until spring 2022.

Market manipulation is in full force when you see AgCanada eggheads say the crop is just a little bit less than 2020. Try 50% less, and I don't even grow canola.

Wheat and durum is also at least 50% of 2020 in my opinion. In my neck of the woods it might be 30% of last year. In some fields there is 10 inch wheat or less. That's not a bin buster!

Now correlating another thread about the cattle guys....and the recent news about crop being baled with that idiot Marit out at Coderre....how many acres are now being zeroed...

While I understand it produced something it wasn't grain hitting the system.

I asked the question a few weeks ago on a different thread ...what is the harvested acres (with a combine not baler) going to be compared to seeded acres.

This type of stuff is reported in the states.

If we get 3 inches of rain over a week period we might break 5 bushels per acre!

Apparently the market believes Ag Canada, and not the farmers on the ground.

Maybe the market will sell off enough that the farmers having to buy out contracts can get an opportunity to cover a bit lower, at the expense of gullible traders.

Grain Companies are now trying the wait and see approach. Wait till you harvested before you try to buy it out. You might be lying MR farmer about the crop and we cant have that. So its better you crawl in on your hands and knees and hope the ass ****ing isnt to bad your about to get.

                    It might backfire tho
There are enough farmers with SFA that will tell them to go **** their hat
Pretty hard to sue 60% of the western Canadian farmers
This canola crop is under 11 MMT, way under
Anyone that says otherwise is a *** idiot or working for the other side
Call farm link solutions and stats can today
Ask them WTF they are trying to acclomplish?
Ask Kevin how far he has toured ?
Christ all mighty , he knows better ?
Is that the only way to get your opinion printed ?
Anyone with half a brain knows you can’t have 30 + degrees for a month at this crop stage and have anywhere near average
Are we dealing with incompetent idiots or just outright lying assholes that hate farmers ?
Their *** game won’t work this year though, last years f u c k ing is too fresh in our minds

Think about the alternative motive. Maybe AgCanada is trying to preserve the market. If they keep the illusion up for a while longer that might deter other countries from trying to grab market share. I know thats a lot to expect from govt.

if we signal that Canada has a once in 50 yr production shortfall, that might get FSU or EU states in growing it big time and that $30 canola price wont materialize anyway. There is 2 sides to this coin.

farmers know the truth, hold your cards and let the traders and govt battle with outdated information.

Yes, and maybe guys can get out of their contracts. When combines roll harvest happy hour mightn’t be that happy for the families. Holding onto this years crop will be better than holding gamestop shares.
