    LoL.
Mentioned earlier, was suckered into a survey other day. Land values, Rental rates. Some professors at some U in Sask i think. 5 questions in you knew the sponsor was DU. Assessing how we value a "wetland". A 1-2 acre pothole!!!
    There's your $20M!

Gawd we as farmers look stupid....and every farm organization that supports this shit,,,,should have their directors resign.

Renting back land from DU instead of just helping out farmers....phucking insane.

So are people that gift land to DU or NCC.

I told my mother if you gift anything to these groups , I would dig her grave up and beat her dead body with a spade.
      The post of the year.

Just remember that the geniuses trying to push the Responsible Grain Code teamed up with Ducks Unlimited to write the rules.

Also don't forget the Canadian Forage and Grassland association got money from government to get a carbon credit for grasslands set up...

Now would DU be part of planting grasslands????????

DU receives several millions of taxpayer $ in Canada and receives through USA farm bill & CRP funding.

Why are they referred to as a Non-Government Organization?

I asked that question live on the code of conduct webinar and explained that DU is a land aggregator using taxpayer money...they couldn't answer or understand.

Bottom line....stay the phuck away from NCC or DU.

Wouldn't it be nice if it were that simple - just "...stay away..."

                  But it isn't.

Here in Ontario, environmental extremists are setting the policy framework for the re-wilding of productive farmland.

The Society for Conservation Biology is global community of conservation professionals dedicated to advancing the science and practice of conserving Earth's biological diversity.

Trek West, a ‘landscape connectivity’ project, will cover 6,000 miles of North America on foot, bike boat, and horseback.

This initiative takes shape in the Provincial Policy Statement and implemented through our local county Official Plans, then voted upon and okayed by stone-blind elected council members who simple-mindedly follow the experts guidance.

All across Canada it will in all likelihood be the same since it's the same force behind it.

They will eventually bring ALL land under regulation that controls every move you make on your own land.

Got a slough that you can work through some years? Forget it - it won't be legal. Nor will you be cropping around it within a very broad "buffer zone".

And the same will apply to all "natural features", as they are identified, catalogued and regulated by some over-paid useless bureaucrat.

Because the U.N. Agendas direct it that way.

So ya, you can try to"...stay away", but how much will your efforts matter when it's them coming for you?

                  But - trust the government...

Here in sask. we allow them to buy the land, put on a restraining order and resell it. This goes on forever. Alta. limits them to 10 years. Low spots in Alta. can be leased by Alus but not locked up in perpetuity.
