I have never heard of this but apparently there is such a thing. Meant to cover losses beyond existing programs in extraordinary disasters.

Was careful with my input costs given how dry it was...but in the end it didn't matter...the crop is phucked..

Provincial governments need to initiate the need
For this program. Our provincial government the sask
Party will not due to the fact they do not want to add their
Share of this program. The feds have asked repeatedly
If there is a need the province has ignored the request.
This is fact.
Our provincial minister should be forced to resign
Due to the failed response to such a large disaster that
Will destroy many farms due to the ineffective crop insurance
Non existent except for crooks agristability program and
The absolute joke of allowing 14 bushels of barley to be written off
Way too late and is there even a swath baleable
From a fried by drought half a foot tall barley crop???
They should be writing off 25 bushel crops to allow
Something decent to be salvaged. There should be an acreage
Payment made immediately through the recovery program
But that would be smart since it would bring federal dollars
To our province. Since we all complain about how much
We send out of here. Too bad we re so smart not to
Figure that out.
Once again the farmers party has showed their colours.

Beyond dry! Crops are a wipeout water is short
For livestock and everyone else even just for living
In many cases.
There are a few fields of oats and barley in the area
that could Have been baled earlier but aren’t written
off were appraised at 20 to 30 so were left.
So are now just baking and deteriorating to zero
Anyway. I don’t get it.
