You can’t comment on Facebook. You can on the CBC website. Social media is just full of trolls anyway.

I've often wondered what % of the people who work for the CBC or the liberal MPs themselves actually believe the charade that is being forced on the people of Canada. Even the leader's true motives have to be questioned as Catherine Mckenna's husband questions the PM's validity when talking about installing clean drinking water on First Nations reserves . . . .

“He doesn’t genuinely believe in any of the things he claims, be it feminism, climate change, democratic reform, or this. He is an empty vessel.”
Scott Gilmore, Husband of MP Catherine McKenna, Editor-At-Large for Macleans.

How many CBC employees and MP's just really, really like their celebrity status along with their direct deposit and to them, anything else is just noise.
Whether Mr. Gilmore voiced his own thoughts or heard it from a close friend I don't know but it's obvious, he like soooo many others also see a charade.
The Dept of Transit & Underemployed Peoplekind indicated there was no more room under the PM's bus anymore so . . . Catherine just said she is not seeking re-election.
This isn't a grade 10 high school news paper and the student council, its the BIGS. Be adults and do your job.
When karma starts ringing door bells and kicking #ss I hope she brings at least 3 pair of boots.

Canada is large and very diverse country. The majority of people do not live in western canada or in rural areas or work in the resource sector.

I don't expect city folks to understand the complexity of agriculture anymore than farmers understand the complexity of the tech industry.

I think many posters are under the assumption that everyone should share their particular world view and values. And if they don't, then there is something wrong with them.

Good luck with that because it isn't going to happen!

I don't think it's a lack of knowledge relating to a sector in the economy, its knowing if a person is genuine with the spoken word. It doesn't matter what area of Canada you live in, phony is easy to spot for most but apparently not all.

Honestly when do you see leaders embrace like that.

I see the liberals are promising the CBC 400 million of new campaign money on top of the 600 million.
                    Signs of desperation.
Will their journalists start wearing red Vote Liberal buttons.

I copy / pasted a comment from the CBC comments on an election story that had many likes and many replies attached to it except I changed one word. I changed the word Conservative to Liberal and my comment was immediately "content deactivated". I also like how the CBC had to change their notification messaging from "content disabled" to "content deactivated" a month or two ago to be politically correct. I would like to know how much the CBC spends on moderating its content. Scrap the comments section entirely instead of CBC just wanting to control the narrative at all levels, including feedback, on their articles.
