Saskatchewan and Alberta alowing covid carriers to not stay at home!

Both provinces have chosen to drop stiff fines against those infected with covid who leave home and go out in public spreading covid. Huh?

Its now up to the individual to make the right decision whether they stay at home or not, with no repercussions if they make the wrong choice.

Covid cases are rising again in some areas and the government wants ill informed citizens to make the right decision?

Will the die hard rider fans miss a game because they have covid? Or miss the long weekend at the lake or a family wedding? Don't count on it.

Get ready for a return to more covid measures in the next weeks and months. Meanwhile feel free to spread your covid variants wherever you want.

Why dont you talk to the antivaxxers among our native communities who were offerred the jab a full month before the rest of us and only 40% with one shot? They are responsible for 99% of the cases right now.

But that wouldnt fit your narrative now would it? easier to rag on some churches or something.

Scary isn’t it. You and your fellow extremists Tweets, Agstar, and One-off will have to hold your seances in your basement and hold hands and quiver in delirious fear.

Could it be that they recognize that the law and fines are unenforceable, that it will cost a fortune and tie up the legal system for years trying to enforce them, since everyone will fight the unconsitutional fines?

The backlog already must be massive.

Every window to the outside world is now completely covered with covid shaming and climate change validation. Fear.
Has anyone tried to get purely informational general world current affairs news? Anyone noticed? Care?
I cant turn on local radio at breakfast or tv at supper??
If no one notices their view of the sky is gone, Chuck's mission is successful. His handler better source an unlimited public supply of anti depressants and anti psychotics.

I wonder how businesses are going to incorporate it.

I can’t see work just letting a positive case come in, they wouldn’t want to risk another outbreak. So even if the province doesn’t require isolating, businesses may still implement stay at home policies if someone tests positive. Of course not going to work is different than having to isolate.

The charter clearly states that nobody can be forced to disclose their medical status or be treated differently on that basis.

So businesses will have to accommodate individual choices like they do with culture and gender or face a raft of lawsuits.

Likely daily testing is the go between for now.

Working with food also means personal and business responsibilities of not bringing contagious illnesses into the workplace. Wash hands so bacterial issues aren’t spread, campy, E. coli, salmonella, etc. Stay home if you're known you have those issues. Similar with health care workers being sidelined if they’re colonized with certain bacteria. Many workplaces have a “Stay home if you’re sick” mantra. Of course this gets ignored in busy times for many.

The charter is referring to hiring and firing and payment, not stay home and take an enforced sick leave so you don’t get everyone else sick. If businesses were enforcing days off with no pay then there would be an issue but if employees are just told to stay home and they still get their wage, well what’s the issue?

And since testing is being lowered many most likely won’t even know they have covid. So it will come down to if a company says take sick days no matter if you’re sick or take sick days only if you go get tested and it comes back positive. Or if they just don’t care.

Charter is for infringements on rights. Probably doesnt involve something like asking people to stay home if sick or extra precautions in certain high exposure environments.

But if something you cannot work for this company with out submitting to daily testing or vaccination, that is right up the charters alley. Would be akin to denying someone employment based on the way they look.

Companies need to be very careful. The woke mob have been successfully suing employers for decades now based things like this. Case law is all there.

I wouldn’t speculate on companies making vaccines mandatory. That would never happen in my mind but stranger things have happened. Would also be highly dependent on companies country of home base as well, I would think.

I can just see some businesses saying if you’ve tested positive stay home for a bit.
