A big fat zero rain for us in July, knee high oats and wheat.

3/10” in yesterday's storm. That be exactly 7 weeks without moisture.

Had 6 to 9 tenths, summerfallowed wheat may make in the 30s, stubble on sandy soil like 10, and had a good start.

Rainfall didn't do me in as much as the crazy heat, cant imagine how bad it would of been without the carbon tax.

I'm in the middle between two environment Canada stations. Both indicate almost 18mm in July, and 23mm in June. South station is probably correct, north one I suspect it is missing some.
If correct, that would be 18% of normal.
And this is the garden spot.
We got 1.75 in early July, and nothing noteworthy since.

Some beautiful hay has been made.
Very nice to see clouds drifting in from Blackpowders ‘Garden of Rden’ to the West!
Rain gauge says 1.8” for July at Killam, we’ll less than 1” at SHERWOOD Patk East Edm… quite variable, Harvest will start in the next two weeks at Edm East peas and wheat. Perhaps 50% of normal there in many fields.
                    Cheers
