    Early yields?

Anyone got anything in the bin? Some lentils in our area coming off lower yields than expected. Not terrible but we felt like they were going to be some of the best around. 18 bushel

6 to 8 bu yellow peas.

Never seen it before where the low ground will do probably 30, the middle-ground zero, and the high ground maybe 2-3.

The middle ground has peas that have been flowering for 4 weeks, but never made a single pod and still have green streaks in them. They absolutely stink running through the combine. Loss monitor will go blank and a pea rattles up the auger into the tank maybe every 2 to 3 seconds.

Grain tank is absolutely moving with hoppers! If it gets much worse I might have to try leaving the return open and dump them on the ground... seen a few guys in montana that figured that kept about 75% of them out of the tank.

Early yield reports are the protein and moisture are higher than what the yields are. 😎

            Sounds almost familiar.
Last year there were large drown outs in canola and barley where the MPH reading was higher than the Bus/Ac number.
If only we could have postponed some of that rain for 12 months.

Red lentils 3-16 bus/acre. Green lentils 0-12 Some durum being baled up. Other early fields might make 25. Canola less then 20. Chickpeas maybe 15. 1/2 to 1/3 of average crop for this area

10-20 bus in areas with 45 bus plus averages

The same percentage will be with all crops in over 80 % of western canada .

Lentils never fully canopied over and filled in and made bushy tops. You can still see the ground between the the rows. I am expecting 5-10bu lower than typical. That would be mid 20s around here.

Lentils enjoy a couple weeks of stress here and there but not 2 months of it.

Just started on some large green lentils and they are running about 14 bu/ acre. This field only got 1.6 inches, so they should start to get a bit better.

How large are the large greens?

                            They only vegetate, here.

Now, soybeans still have a chance, if that elusive August rain would materialize.

Peas appraised at 2 some 6 and combined 2 fields at 8.
Barley appraised at 5,11 and 16 but written off
Too low to even cut. One field combined at 18 gross but
After weight will not even be that.
Canola where it even made seeds they are smaller than
Pepper And not even dried down yet
Canary not appraised yet but it will be wrote off
Next to No seeds and all white they want to wait
In case we get rain. Lmao.
