    Late Rain ??

Storm just went through only lasted about 10/15 min but dumped 1 6/10 in with some large g**** size hail but not to big a wind. Radar showed it about 30 mi long but like i said it was gone in 15 min realy pounded the garden will look at fields in am. Grateful for that much as the grass sure needed that, probably to late for crops, the hail probably took off some of the already poor silage yield.
That is north west of edmonton.

    Bummer Horse.

They had a thunderstorm warning out for us but all we got was wind. This year the surprises just keep coming. We’ve had more hail than the last five years combined.

Did the hail at least kill some of the hoppers? There sure is enough of them around here now

Its lentil harvest around Regina. Picking them off the ground with dry gumbo is much easier, just sayin!

I could see the light show from here. Another series of storms went by just north of here a little later too. But as usual, not a drop here.
We have had 30 to 60% chance of showers almost every day and night for the past month, but virtually nothing ever comes out of it. Don't even take it seriously any more, just carry on cutting and raking hay.

Don't remember seeing grasshoppers at this location before. Lots of the out on pasture in spots. Non in yard so far.
Hoped to get enough rain to regrow some early grazed sruff but doubt that will amount to much now even if thing were ideal.
Be feeding a month earlier than last year. Hope the fence has enough power.
Good yr to spread all those old manure piles.
