Highly vaccinated nations like Israel and several others are experiencing rises cases as well, which puts the whole "blame the unvaccinated" thesis into serious question.

Maybe the Israelis are overreacting but we'll know for sure in a few months. Same might be said for many people on this side of the pond too.

As for the punishing the unvaccinated strategy, historically the concept of collective punishment has been a catastrophic failure no matter what the motivation.
