Amazing how at harvest time a tiny % of rain in forecast all of a sudden is 100% correct now?

Got an inch in NE Edmonton Saturday morning. Might help late barley. Mother nature furnace back on tomorrow for another week.

There have been several rains west and NW of here the past two weeks . Other that a few narrow strips , some hail , most did not add up to much .

I know it's not timely, and I'd like to just get harvest over and done with, but it's so dry it's scary. Worked a spot with a cultivator and it was total powder. There could be one heck of a fire and no way to stop it if it was 35C and windy.

Good morning all.

We had a quarter inch of rain early this morning. First measurable rain since July 6th. This will take some fire hazard away for a day or two. Better than nothing.
