SK AG's Market Trend data is an average of X amount of bids
X varies from year to year

This years: All information sourced from Cargill, Viterra, North West Terminal, CMI Terminal, Louis Dreyfus, Price and Data Quotes and Stat Publishing.

That is why it is same as Brian's and didnt capture the 50+ that happened.

Talk to Buffalo Rick on a good day...

Canaryseed - 45 cents per lb today. This is virtually an all time record. Very little hidden inventory is being sold off now. Market rising until growers start to sell. Will be volatile though.

      Clancy posting 46 cents 2day

The chart is just posted prices from Sask Ag. It's historical.
But very useful for catching trends as Wheat King did.

Dave what do processers generally do with the peeled canary seed?

            Makes outstanding feed if availlable.

Why are canary buyers still waiting 3 weeks to pay?
Should be day after max time to wait. Should
Be a clearing house type of deal they put their cash in
And when you deliver it comes out either you have
The money to buy or not. Shouldn’t be our risk it’s
A reason why some companies get more business
But they then offer lower prices. Nonsense.

We just sell it with our pulse screenings. It is mainly small weed seeds anyway. Buckwheat, kochia, etc.

Now that Canary is regulated by the CGC, if you are dealing with a licensed company they should be the same as any other grain buyer and have to pay you on request as per Grain Act shouldn't they?
