If you "AB5" and "Sheepwheat" are ok with what Parsley posted above, especially the immigration portion good for all of you. Then you should ask yourselves why you're on Agriville because Canada was built on immigration.
Just think if Parsley was at the controls of who immigrates to Canada way back when. Maybe your great grandparent's wouldn't have made it into Canada no matter what positive skills they could bring to Canada even if these skills would be for the betterment of the country. But that's ok with you guys.
Flee, I got rain for the first time in six weeks last night and have been harvesting forages the past three weeks.
Business comes first on my farm not lurking on Agriville. Yet my first post in appox a month on Agriville and your on it, quite the hard-on you have for me.
With all that grain on your farm and with the great prices coming up did you ever incorporate? Hopefully you did because CRA is going to be looking hard for revenue to pay for the Covid Jab bills.

How’s the forage crops yielding?
Some really nice red and yellow clover here
Seed alfalfa looks to be the nicest we have ever grown if we can get it?

Legumes enjoy the heat and drier conditions which prevent them from growing rank and therefore boasting
seed production.
Good to hear your Alfalfa is looking good, it loves it on the dry side especially for seed production. Those tap roots never seem to run out of moisture. Every other plant is browning up and Alfalfa is as green as ever. prices should be good this year.
All the best with your harvest Case and thanks for asking, stay safe.

You should try working a full time job and farming. 15 yrs doing that. I used to take work calls and texts on my BB during my farming vacations.Last edited by jazz; Aug 10, 2021, 21:29.

I have been thinking of all that stored crop of yours especially now with highest grain prices in recent history.
Been pretty busy haying and hauling in grain contracts. Just finished up those jobs and moving on to preparing for harvest. Missed the high by a couple dollars, but made out well. Now hoping Richardson doesn't go broke until after January 1st so that Trudeau doesn't take too muchLets a guy sleep a little easier with the dismal harvest that is coming up.
Gonna be dropping straw on every acre to help out the neighbours with cattle. Never advertised a bale of hay this year and guys only got about 25% of their pre-orders. Also turned away about 100 phone calls for hay that people got my number from god knows where. Like I said, never advertised any hay. Broke my heart to hear some of their stories, but the crop just wasn't there. Also getting calls for feed grains. That never happens! Guys are looking to stretch out hay with straw and some grain it seems.

Still have other ventures on the go so Agriville is for rainy days right now.
BBs were the best for typing.

Funny no mention by chuck2 of one of the coldest springs we have had in a long time, but one summer of drought and "We are already seeing the effects of climate change across Canada, including more intense wildfires, heat waves and drought.".
What happened to the weather/climate thing he always scolded us about?
