Could have used a bit of wind Sunday and Monday as we were still in the mid 30ies cutting durum, nice harvest wind yesterday, stronger this morning. Will finish durum today before the showers move in tonight, avg moisture 15.5, normally would let it stand a couple more days,,,, but with showers in the forecast, we're putting it in the bin. Will have to take it down a couple points as Ceres always buys at 13.5 moisture.

Didnt get it here in Regina. None of the Canadian weather networks were predicating it either but some of the US models had it.

Shows the folly of weather forecasting.

1/10 inch in our gauges this morning. We were just starting durum after a marathon run that finished lentils last night at 9:30. 🐎

What was the finally yeild tally on the lentils your way?

Just getting into our lentils a few days ago, first field was running 25. The rest seem like they could do a bit better. Quite surprised.

3/10 of rain overnight. Enough to stop the wheat harvest but not enough to turn pastures around. Getting maybe 1 bale per 7 acres on wheat straw and that's behind a conventional combine.

Weather seems to be looking like normal falls of recent past.

Below normal as far as they forcast with showers every couple of days.
