The most important elected political position in Canada comes with the highest of expectations. So comes the question, “ What do we expect from our all-mighty leader?†Maybe we have it all wrong. 🤷ðŸ»

More drama and empty promises for everyone in Canada except Quebec ... the same as the past 6 years

A PMs first duty it to the economy, our laws and our institutions and our shared sovereignty. There is no country or democracy without those things as you can see from the pics out of Afghanistan today.
You never ever take your eyes off of it.
But we have an idiot who has never had a job, thinks Quebec runs Canada and treats our laws and sovereignty like toilet paper.

In the early 70's a friend of mine was breaking into MLB and went to play winter ball in Venezuela. Most young players did. Best winter league in the world.
They were in top 10 richest coutries in the world.
Then some bad leftist governments were elected that were supposed to make things much better for the lower class.
They don't elect governments anymore.
Oil drives the economy and thier rig count currently is zero.
So screwed up even the Chinese pulled out.
They have succeeded at equilizing income.Last edited by shtferbrains; Aug 16, 2021, 08:16.

Our current PM's number one priority is managing the pork barrel
A highly refined style of govenment common in shithole countries where your freinds prosper and the rest not so much.
Never ends well because it never ends once it gets rooted.

Is this a way to replaceTrudeau? The Right work together.
Will this work for the Right? It certainly has for the Left!
Explanation: After the candidates are all listed, some of them will show a much better chance of winning than others.
What if the PPC, CPC and Maverick, (& perhaps incl Sloan’s party in the making?) willingly collaborate on a strategy that boosts only the Right’s strongest candidate from the 3 or 4 running, to win in the Right’s weakest ridings?
In other words, the strongest candidate out of the three parties, in mutually selected close ridings, will become the sole candidate by mutual agreement; using polling as one of the factors to determine the strongest candidate. The other candidates would withdraw.
All three parties would agree to liaise to prevent a Liberal win.
This tactic has proven itself useful. If the Right3 could agree to this tactic, it may garner enough votes for winning MP’s to vote out a Liberal minority.

Second is time. By the time we could mobilize some sort of grass roots movement you are looking at another term of Trudeau then Freeland then Carney. Be nothing but ashes by that time.
There are conservative people in the west that are teetering on just voting Liberal now and say Fck it. Pain can't be any worse.
We have one chance with the AB referendum or we are done. Might as well get ready to go full John Galt.

And I thought the title was a spelling error, and it was about the roll of the prime minister, maybe he was taking selfies with the latest joint he rolled.
Right now in Canada, the role of the PM is to have a pretty face and hair and recognizable name, and that is about it.
