Flipper you are like the grumply old muppet hecklers up in the theatre box on The Muppets that provide a laugh or two.

Solar system is working very well. Powered the air conditioner all summer during the heatwave and sent lots of excess production into the grid for other air conditioners as Sask Power had some very high usage days during the heat wave.

Looks like we will generate more electricity than our total farm consumption again for another year! Its been a mostly cloudless summer with endless sun.

Chuck can you please post some pictures and details of your solar generating system? I am interested in putting one up on our farm.

It would be best to talk to several companies that install them. I am out of date on pricing and whats available in terms of options and incentive programs.

Ground mounts work nice if you want to keep the snow off them in the winter. Adjustable so you can change the angle for summer and winter is probably a good idea.

Roof mount is okay too. The snow comes off south facing panels on a sunny winter day.

If you get a new all electric F150 Lightning in 2022 you can have a solar powered battery backup to run your house for awhile during an outage.

Battery backups in EVs can provide lots of usable storage for multipurpose uses. Plus you get lower cost fuel/energy for driving around.

Is BHP going the cartel that makes using potash almost unaffordable in Saskatchewan.

Been told , all costs in it takes 150 bucks to put potash in a rail car.

Saskatchewan users don't have it put in a rail car...Its trucked to the local input dealer...doesn't anyone wonder why the asian farmers can buy saskatchewan potash cheaper than Canadian farmers???

I recommend not reading anything or listening to other people.

That way you can avoid thinking and making decisions that require information and evidence to get it right.

And you will always know it all! LOL
