I listened to Tom Mulcair being a talking head on one of the afternoon TV shows last week - can't remember which station - its hard to tell CTV/CBC apart anyway. Tom was so enthusiastic about Erin's french he was harder than usual to listen to. If what he said is even half right and Erin really plays that much better in Quebec this just might be a horse race. I expect Maverick will cost us Ralphie BadBeer's seat and maybe we lose a couple in socialist Edmonstan but if we can gain a dozen or 15 in Quebec that's the ball game.

If nothing else it helps get through the endless episodes of Skippy being enthusiastic that I'll be forced to endure between now and Sept 20.

Apparently Trudeau isn't the only pretender as you call Trudeau in another thread.

Doesn't matter what politicians say or do, it will be received and interpreted based on an individual's bias. To some, this photo of O'toole will be a testament to his service. But to many who have served, this will be seen as an attempt to embellish his service- suggesting he was a fighter pilot in the CAF. And there will be those who see it as a rip off by O'Toole and his campaign of a popular movie. (At least O'toole changed the color of the stripes and changed the star to a maple leaf when he ripped off the Top Gun posters. Too bad he didn't change the background planes to reflect Canada's fighter fleet)

Sure enough you’re calling out some bs. I’ll give you credit for that but you are starting to sound desperate and petty. Even if O’Toole wasn’t in active combat his qualifications of actually serving our country and being a lawyer are far more than Trudeau has. No reason for him to pretend to be a fighter pilot. It’s much harder to become a SARtech and they do a lot more training
