The ‘statesman’ is being blamed for the chaos in Kabul the last few days. His declaration to bring 20,000 Afghans to Canada was empty and pure rhetoric but invited backlash from Taliban and other dissidents.

Every speech, policy or legislation Trudeau has adopted has pitted one group against another. Carrots for one group, sticks for another. Some got all carrots, some got all sticks. Even Trudeaus carrots come at a price - becoming a permeant ward of the federal govt. Even when his policy had nothing to do with you, he made sure you got shamed in the process.

Its the way to consolidate power in this country. Has nothing to do with whats good for the country and its people. Its no surprise that the people getting the stick and shaming everyday might have something to say about it

I was thinking yesterday, while swathing some canola, could/might, ctv, global, city relish the possibility of oTool dismantling their competition the cbc? Might some of oTool's better press be, because he's promising to shutdown cbc TV? Even if they lose their "Trudeau Media Subsidy" they may very well end up further ahead if cbc was eventually gone.

Have the companies you listed actually morphed into the classic taxpayer-tit suckers, and are beyond financial redemption in 2021? Or would they enthusiastically return to being market competitors?
