Things are not what they used to be.
New generation needs to hear the stories of how things used to be or they will think it’s always been this way.

And god forbid you even try to call the parts guys on a weekend .especially on a Sunday ... it’s like your bothering them ..... “I guess I can meet you there ....”

Don’t like working weekends in Ag industry at harvest ... go find another Fukin job , maybe a9-5 government job

This is just how Pattison runs it’s show. When u call u are automatically sent to after hours numbers. Most are good there and will help out but for the life of me why can’t u just have someone there until 10pm on weekends and evenings. It’s only for a few months. This is what happenings when u have town kids running the business and their sense of urgency ends at 5 on Friday and starts again at 8 on Monday. Unless it’s a long weekend then Tuesday.

I find it interesting how two Billion dollar companies now are into Iron Sales. Jimmy vs Brandt. Deere Corporated must be just loving the new way.

Yes I’ve heard that story more than a few times. Don’t have that part but can order it. And we’ll phone you when it’s in.

Can’t remember the last time they have actually phoned when it’s in. I think the next time this happens I’m going to pipe up and say “And you won’t phone me again when it’s in”

Worse yet is when the manufacturer issues a service bulletin to the0 dealers and no parts.

15 dollars worth of orings and its a 3 hour trip to get parts.
                      And no one knows shit.

They have millions in machinery inventory and 2 cents worth of parts.

Dealer we patronize are an exception for parts availability. After hour callouts are no problem as partsmen on call get the fee. They’re eager to help. Most stuff that commonly craps the bed at harvest is well stocked. The deadhead down the road didn’t stock baler bands in hay season. I’m afraid of owning case for that reason but I’ll give em credit for improving. Other couple dealers are decent. Guys from other towns where a particular magnate owns a bunch of dealerships come here for parts. Jimmy better go back selling cars cause he’ll run Deere’s reputation and sales into the ground.
