An inch last night, 3.2 since last Thurs night. Had 1.2 prior to this 3 wks ago but was so dry don’t think it really helped out much. Building for 2022!
Have next yrs crop in the bin, but this one still out.

Birch Hills area, 8/10” first significant rain since June 12. This will help the canola swaths with any green and cut fire risk. Might have to cut the lawn once more, hasn’t been cut for almost two months.

We have received more rain in the last week ( 2.3 inches) than we have since March.Mixed feelings but will be a start for next year.

This moisture will stay in ground now
Hopefully we can get back and finish the last bit of cereals before the rains later next week
See some very high totals for Sept 1-2 north west of here . Hopefully it holds off for now

It’s possible we may not get back into harvest for a few weeks . They never seem to be wrong at harvest time
Will be frost in areas tomorrow morning, most crops matured out though . Late crops will be susceptible

Up to 2.1 inches in last week. Getting wet. Cant be good for the swathed wheat!

1.25 inches west of Edmonton. Biggest dump in over a year for us. First time we weren’t choking on dust in the corrals working critters this year. Better late than never………. 🍀

We also got next to bugger all here but seems unlikely harvest will resume anytime soon with the cool forcast and showers every few days.
Will be some canola go down but l think most had plans to take the lighter crops straight.
