Cancer patients have one dire outcome without trying something. People not taking the covid jab aren't even sick yet, and won't die 99.9% of the time if they even happen to get the virus in the first place.

Why do we need a vaccine in the first place for a disease that has caused 3519 cases and 26 deaths in TWO YEARS in a country of 4,860,000 people?

Compare those numbers to about 2,430,000 cases and about 1000 deaths every two years from the flu in New Zealand. How come you guys are so worried about covid, but not the flu?

They have applied for vaccination of 5 yr old and up. People with other conditions may not be treated if hospitals are filled with covid so yes limiting hospitalizations is critical.
