    NEW YORK, NY—As the new Delta variant continues to wreak havoc in the U.S., a spokesman for drugmaker Pfizer admitted today that the true COVID vaccine isn’t what was injected into our bodies, but rather the friends we made along the way. “The key to defeating COVID was inside of us this whole time,” the spokesman said. "I’m not talking about our immune systems. I’m talking about our friends, families, and neighbors who helped us through this difficult ordeal. They are the TRUE cure for the pandemic.” “Over the last 17 months, we’ve laughed together virtually, cried together virtually, and even burned down several city blocks in the name of peaceful protests,” he said. “If we keep working together while wearing masks and staying six feet apart, there’s no end to what we can accomplish.” “Though we’ve made great progress, we’re not out of the woods just yet,” the spokesman then warned. “So please, continue to harass your friends and neighbors about wearing masks, report improper behavior to government authorities, and out strangers on social media whenever possible. That’s what good friends do.”  The spokesman concluded the press conference by urging everyone to get a third Pfizer shot, preferably prior to the end of the company’s fiscal third quarter on September 30. He said the firm is also testing the need for a fourth booster shot, the need for which will depend highly on how the rest of their fiscal year goes.

      If a transgender person can successfully sue for violation of rights due to improper waxing of balls, then you can bet the lawsuits will fly for denial of service and relegation to a second class citizenry over a vaccine.

      I dont expect agstarr to understand the charter. If the govt told him to drink soylent green he would be all in.

          This is not, by any means, the world's first pandemic/vaccine rodeo. When this fiasco first started, the experts assured us that the vaccine was 98% effective. If they were honest, they would have attached a list of caveats a mile long to that prediction, but the urge to cheerlead got the better of them.

          Most of the population was led to believe that two doses would do the trick and that immunity would last for years. Not one public health official said otherwise. How well do you think the vaccine program is going to function now that we are finding out that vaccine effectiveness is actually measured in months? How supportive is the public going to be when they find out that lockdowns will be instituted repeatedly while we wait for booster shots?

            Notice I never said doctors, but insurers. But point taken. I also would love to see insurance coverage denied to those who don't wear a seatbelt. Notice I never said care. You can have all the care you want, just be expected to pay for it out of pocket.

              Aside from the very significant issue of cause, have you considered the legal, ethical and moral conundrum which that road leads to?

                  I don’t wear a seatbelt if I am on our personal dirt road, going forty clicks to the field. I don’t wear a seatbelt in the field. I put it on when I leave the yard onto a main road where I will be travelling an appreciable speed. I have the middle seatbelt plugged into drivers buckle to avoid the annoying ding, ding, ding, DING DING..

                  I do come out of the house with loaded weapons quite frequently if a coyote is attacking a lamb, or a fox a chicken, or a Turkey, or a skunk is playing with the dogs. The times I am not loaded are when I am heading to the vehicle to hunt, or to go to another place to whack a varmint. I observe the risk, and act accordingly.

                  Kind of like with this “vax”. I am under next to no risk to get Covid out here in the sticks, I am healthy, am a good age, and have a store of ivermectin. Ha! I put that last word in there just for you!
