Sad part is the only real help is the FarmStress line.

Yea it’s been my worst on the farm. But the rain gives us a chance next year so that’s a positive.

A day later still not all gone

When is this BS going to stop? Gouging, rapping, screwing, or whatever word you can think of is getting older already. My back isn’t even sore anymore from bending over. Why can’t farmers get together and say NO MORE?? Right we can’t even get along with our neighbours.

I’m wondering come Feb - Mar how short they will be of most commodities? Right that word never gets used when the farmers are holding the Ace of spades.
        Why?

Because your farm representatives are not doing the job they wanted so bad ..now when shit hits the fan they are on their heels wondering what the phuck to do.

For the most part 5th generation farmers at the age of 40 have barely learned how to use their own chequebook.

These guys were on the news last night talking about cell service...that issue aint going to be on the top of the list right now...the only issue is this impact of the drought . Cell service can be put to 2, 3,4 on the list of priorities.

            Good morning all.

Harvest is finished for my operation this year, finished up at 6pm last night.
            Yields are as follows:
            durum avg 10bpa
            peas avg 5 bpa
            triticale baled for feed
barley going to let the cows eat it.

Got a dandy crop of kochia and thistles this year , spraying all of my stubble this fall trying to stop them in their tracks. Probably going to make some of it black just so I don't have to see them.

1988 was worse than this and so was 2001 , but not by much. I must like what I am doing because I plan on doing this next year ! Ha Ha! Here's hoping for more rain , and Saskfarmer I would have gladly taken 90% of the rain that you got in the last few weeks. Hail this time of year and a deluge of rain really is a pain in the ass and wallet. I feel for you my friend.....

Hope some of you fill your bins this year , and my opinion is don't contract anything until new year , but I might be wrong.

            Take care everyone.

We took a quarter of wheat at 19 yesterday maybe get another today. In the dryer cooking all night. If it flows you go.

Hail damage was bad knocked kernels out of head

Spray canola it will try to grow again and barley is coming from the root bot thrown over.

Seeds that didn’t germinate in green feed seeded June 20 th did this week.

One never knows. The Durum sample was really good last night, probably will hold at top this year. Its a bit tough 🤔 but we taken tougher grain with poor aeration. Which terminals have grain dryers. They may take Durum, even at 19% this year as dry. We’ve seen that before. If she flows - she goes?

I love the fall weather guy from Ontario who is calling for a long dry warm fall. Yea I can just see that taking place. How about wave after wave of Precipitation started two weeks ago and continues.

This is when a big honkin grain dryer pays for itself. We bought an old MC and parked it behind the trees, rusting nicely but ready at the call. 😂 Good old farmer used to say a dryer is better than an extra combine.

                      It's true.

A big hurricane is coming into Louisiana this weekend. Could affect or change our weather. Good, bad, or UGLY.

Did you see how the radar showed rain skirted west of Regina today? We have enough moisture at this time, thanx Regina Block. 😂🍀 Maybe Louisiana will send us a warm dry wind for a few days. 👍🐎
