And what do you have against the farm boys in Gravelbourg and all the other french speaking prairie communities speaking their native tongue?

I thought there is equality in Canada except Kebec has 1/4 of the seats.

Quebec also has approximately 1/4 of the population of Canada. So if you believe in equality Quebec has the right number of seats. Saskatchewan on the other hand has too many. In fact a Saskatchewan voter carries about 25% more weight than a Quebec voter because of fewer voters per riding. Average Quebec riding has 104,000 people compared to just 78,000 people per Saskatchewan riding now. Oh and the national average is 104.000 voters per riding.

You want equality, Saskatchewan should lose some seats federally. So be careful what you ask for.

So what are your thoughts on an elected senate? Same seats per province.

This French English divide tactic has been used for generations. Whether it be the fascist PQ trolls calling the maple leaf a red rag, official bilingualism in the Anglo west, while Quebec is allowed to police primary French signs, meetch lake, Charlottetown accord, etc. Appeasement of nationalists while creating resentment in the rest of the country. I have no problem with French or French people. There are a lot of Fransaskquois people, French immersion schools with high enrolment in my city. I am not French nor can speak it but if you know a couple languages at least it sure opens doors. I have no problem with french debates but seems funny that many are in French. It’s another tactic which divides us further. Our heartstrings are used against us.

Of course I will vote O’Toole.
Anyone would be better than Sunny Ways and Erin is the best chance to get rid of him.
If you think Erin O’Toole and Justin Trudeau are anything alike with background and work experience and common sense you are a bigger moron than I first thought!!!

I hate to denigrate someone for their beliefs unless those beliefs infringe upon my rights, hurt others, or they’re just a pompous ass about it. This certain poster falls into the third category. Old reds never change they just get more entrenched and ignorant. Anyone with strong political or religious associations for that matter. The mind gets feeble with age or pure laziness of critical thought. Easy to believe wholeheartedly the playbook of the group you follow.

We joke about holding our noses and voting for O'Toole but I would bet there's piles of people doing the same thing for Justin.

Atlantic provinces have 116,000 fewer people than SK & MB , yet the Atlantic provinces have 4 more ridings.
