Screw Covid and Politic for a while.

Furrow how's your harvesting going, I remember reading that passing showers were screwing you up.

Even with the showers are you still very dry?

But you have both vaccinations don't you? Because if you don't, you wont be going on your next diving trip which you already booked.

So if you are opposed to mandatory vaccinations why do you have yours?
Because he didn’t get them because they were mandatory maybe? And is opposed to making them mandatory? Just because he got the jabs, doesn’t mean he can’t be opposed to making them mandatory.

Flea Beetle, going hard on three threads regarding Covid.

You must have been captain of the debating team up there in Edmonton.

If you spend half the time taking up the Covid issue with Kenney (doesn't he set the Covid rules in AB.) as you do duking it out with fellow Agrivillers, there won't even been masked introduce in Alberta.

Besides relax and enjoy your harvest, the kids and especially wifie, as it's the "Best Summer Ever Alberta 2021"

Yes rains kept us out of harvest off and on for nearly 2 weeks .
Had some hail damage , probably 2 in rain total , so helps some but still very large deficit in most area here .
Dealing with wind damaged swaths now , not bad but starting . Swaths are thin in dry areas and ridges and are scattered .
So rather than fight Mother Nature we went to nieces wedding Saturday...was great to get away and see family
Back in the saddle , a bit uneasy on Sunday LOL
Did some standing canola , some still not under 12
Got into dry swathed canola yesterday
Yields are very poor , 12-15 to 1/2 average 20-25
Swathing barley now with weather break , hopefully get it all dry by weekend.
It’s been a challenge for everyone in this area , like many others I am sure

This is my relaxing time. I enjoy exposing your BS!

Must be doing a good enough job to warrant a comment from one of the more quiet groupies!

I didn’t realize you were the self-proclaimed forum police people kind!

We got 2/10” out of that rain. We’ve been going hard here. Just started canola. I’ll bet yield looks about 20 across the farm. Half of normal. Wheat less than half. We’ll be done by the end of the week. Some guys wheat is averaging decent for the year but on better land and better varieties. Think I’ll change the antique I grow cause it hates drought.

Much the same story here for yields
As you go NE and east more 10’s than 20’s in canola some 5 or less

If you did everything right and Mother Nature knocks you down, it's out of your control.

Weddings are always fun, lots of good food, music, chewing the rag, and of coarse a little booze.

Yup it’s been 4 out of the past 5 years here . Drought this year , hail last year on 80% of the farm , snow flattened crops before that , frost . Yet some actually had it worse .
All I know is that for those that have had only minor issues the past few years , had a big crop last year and were able to sell a decent amount of crop at higher levels and had at least an average crop this year .... thank your lucky stars 👍👍. Probably once in a lifetime opportunity today . That’s what I have farmed for for 30 plus years . Maybe next year lol.

This year for many it was like having a winning lottery ticket in your hand only to get struck by lightning.

No the whole ag industry is going to punish all of us because about 10% have done very well .
We will get through but it won’t be fun next year .
And thanks forage for asking, always good to see another side of people 👍. We all farm , that what Agriville used to be about , this past year and a half it turned into a shit show unfortunately, mainly by a handful of self righteous pricks .
