That is actually false. Media has painted otoole as accepting the libs latest gun grab. Actual fact is that otoole is planning to maintain the actual assault gun ban, which has been in place since the 1970’s.

Abortion has and always will be a contentious subject. Problem here is we are a bunch of old men debating an issue which is really less our business than the ones who actually have to deal with it. Women have brains too you know. My wife always said if we had a baby on the way and it was found to have a defect such as downs she would still have it as all babies should be loved. I on the other hand initially thought aborting it and saving the stress and hardships it could bring. Wasn’t until we were gifted with autism that love for your children is unconditional. That said, I personally hate abortion and the thoughts of it. However, there are situations where abortion are relevant and pertinent to women’s mental and physical health which if a woman is in the frame of mind to make such a drastic decision I really have trouble with a bunch of us men telling her what she can and can’t do. Rather than having draconian measures of outright banning abortion I would like to see more help for women with unwanted pregnancies to adopt them to families. There are many loving people out there who can’t have kids. Partial birth abortions should be banned.
