    oil content

    Hearing some dried out canola is producing a few bushels but with no oil content it is unsalable ,
    can anyone confirm or deny?

    Last time I read the grading guidelines, there was nothing about oil content. How can that be a grading factor?

      I heard second hand today that one grain company that rhymes with Sask Wheat Pool was implementing $10/T discounts for low oil content.

          I assume that means they are paying extra for normal oil content, and even more for above normal oil. LoL, F Viterra.

                    Think of oil content in CNL like protein in wheat. Not a grading factor but they can adjust price by amount in product.

                      Not a grading factor but a sale factor. If their sales are for 44% for example, they won’t just bring in a bunch of 39.

                              Can you easily blend for oil % improvement? Therefore possible to pay premium for higher content to bring up lower stuff?
