I bet the pioneer salesman has gone into witness protection.

Started straight cut at 2 weeks, had to leave low spots. Went to swaths as soon as dry. Back to straight at 3 weeks after spraying (Transorb .67L) and no problem, went through everything. We also had 5" rain after it was sprayed. That helped I think.

Just did a bunch of trials for one of the seed companies. Field had light hail on it 10 days ago. All of it was straight cut with all the brands pod shatter reduction technology.

Liberty had the least pod shatter, essentially 0 followed closely by DeKalb's new pod shatter varierty, and then by DeKalb's old tech. And by far the worst was the pioneer straight cut varieties being not much better than a non pod shatter varierty. The pioneer looked like decent canola until the hail. Looks like it's more of a swath late variety.
