Good sask is leading. I for one am sick of Covid.

From a medial person in our family, you got the vaccine your protected you can still get it but it won't kill if you if your overweight by a lot, sick, close to death unhealthy you might die also but you probably were close to dying anyway.

For the healthy, it might make you a bit sick but with the vaccine you are protected.

The ones without can die and some will that's the life you choose to not hoping your body can fight it good for you your body might and then your ok. Most can't so it's a matter of time before they are in hospital and if they have one of the above we dig a hole and call it a day.

You wanted the truth it's easy. The vaccine helps but if you are sick it can take you. A cold can take you if you are sick why do you think you are not allowed to see a terminally ill patient if you are sick because you may pass it on to them and they can't fight it and will die.

It's your right to take the jab or not just realize if you are a bit unhealthy and you get it you might not make it.

    Rather simple isn't it.

Were not closing down again to save the 30% that are smarter than science.

Would be interesting to poll how many years of secondary education you and your siblings have.Just thinking there may be a pattern emerge.I remember my college instructor talking about new seed varieties and how farmers should accept the science and test gone into producing them because if they did not have some kind of advantage they would not get registered.Sometimes education may not make you smarter but help you accept technology and science.

Reminds me of the 'Darwin Awards'; sadly far too many will be earned this year... far too many proud folks who believe they are invincible... Guessing the human DNA pool is being selected by the Chinese now... what a coup... None so blind as those who refuse to see...

              Cheers

Not so sure that viuses care much about particular DNA; but mutations of all kinds are a fact of life.

Three cheers for Sask. With those under 12 not eligible for vaccines yet; the onset of staying indoors more frequently and way too many misguided and dare I say ill informed neigbors...this epidemic has not been managed as we) as it could have been.

I am pro-vac but I wonder how your college educated friends are making out with L-130 Canola and Vesper wheat.

I copied this from a comments section on another blog, maybe someone else already posted this as I really haven't been following the Covid/vaccinations battles on here very much , but this is food for thought . . . . .
A friend sent this and I think it sums up my feelings completely. “I'm vaccinated and, no, I don't know what's in it - neither this vaccine, the ones I had as a child, nor in the Big Mac, or in hot dogs, or in other treatments…whether it's for cancer, AIDS, the one for polyarthritis, or vaccines for infants or children. I trust my doctor when he says it’s needed.
I also don't know what's in Ibuprofen, Tylenol, or other meds, it just cures my headaches & my pains ...
I don't know what's in the ink for tattoos, vaping, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo or even deodorants. I don’t know the long term effect of cell phone use or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.
                    In short ...
                    There's a lot of things I don't know and never will…
I just know one thing: life is short, very short, and I still want to do something other than just going to work every day or staying locked in my home. I still want to travel and hug people without fear and find a little feeling of life "before".
As a child and as an adult I've been vaccinated for mumps, measles, polio, chicken pox, and quite a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of said diseases ... just saying.
You are not vaccinated, I respect your choice,
I am vaccinated, respect my choice ...
I'm vaccinated, not to please the government but:
                    * To not die from Covid-19.
                    * To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.
                    * To hug my loved ones
                    * To Not have to do PCR or antigenic tests to go out dancing, go to a restaurant, go on holidays and many more things to come ...
                    * To live my life.
                    * For Covid-19 to be an old memory.
                    * To protect us.
Text copied, you can too. Thought it summed things up quite nicely.”

And my dogs are forever waiting for me to cook up more bones for them to chew on!

Good Analogy A990, very astute, sadly all dogs don't hunt the same!!! [Some tend to bring perpetual flees with them and share liberally] Perhaps some Ivomec? But some love spreading their flees around obviously!!

[And they want us to scratch the crusty dirt off their ribs after they go swimming in that stinky slough and dry off on a hot day]
[or like the coyotes coming and yipping right beside the open window on a hot night to drive my puppy crazy!]
                          Cheers

it is not about what you know but it is how you learn what you know.

Mayor Rod Frank of Strathcona County stated he wants consistent daily up dates and direction from Alberta health.

Frank wants Kenney to bring in Covid Vax Passports and is hearing this from his business leaders in Strathcona.

Mayor Frank said 80% of his County eligible for the Covid Vax have gotten it.

Rod brought up a very sad story of a young individual needing brain surgery who had to have it cancelled because of Covid case over load in local hospitals.

Mayor Frank didn't seem to be on the same page as Kenney and his UPC party and wasn't wearing the "Best Summer Ever Alberta 2021" Hat.

                              Background of Mayor Rod Frank

Rod has Business and Law Degrees from the University of Alberta, and brings 30 years’ experience in business and law to Strathcona County Council. He was also a former Lawyer In Your Corner columnist for the Sherwood Park News.
