Except there are always one-off anecdotal stories.
I know a former EMT who once came upon an accident upside down vehicle, seat belt on and the occupant was unable to escape due to the weight hanging on the seat belt or injuries from seat belt and didn't survive . Passenger without seatbelt did survive. The EMT would not wear his seatbelt again after seeing that. In spite of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

What part of no room at the inn or hotel or hospital wouldn't you ever understand. When ICU's are full and temporary wards or hospital corridors are set up for the overflow; how many times do you have to be reminded that it is now because of unnvaccinated covid patients who could have simply prevented this situation.

My grandpa and grandma were in a bad accident some 50 years ago. Both wearing seatbelts. Grandpa passed away that night, grandma lived. Had they both not been wearing seatbelts, it would have been the other way around. You just never know.
