Moe invoked a straw man argument yesterday in saying that vaccinations should remain a choice because he doesn't want to have 2 classes of unvaccinated and vaccinated citizens. What?
So what about all the "second class" citizens who need elective health care, cancer treatment and emergency care or an ICU bed that are filled with mostly preventable covid cases?
Covid cases in the unvaccinated and vulnerable and are taking up a large amount of healthcare resources and negatively affecting other healthcare services, causing many delays that will cause more suffering and loss of life.
Doctors are warning that the increase in unvaccinated covid cases will result in a triage process where some people will not be getting life saving care.
Moe seems to be okay with second class health care for some, but wont tolerate requiring more citizens having to get vaccinated so that everyone gets first class healthcare.
Moe's ironic argument is so full of holes it looks like swiss cheese.
His leadership on covid has been been about catering to a very small group of ethically challenged, self centred antivaxers and treating the majority of citizens as second class.
It's hardly an example for treating all citizens equally and doing the right thing to prevent more disease and a healthcare crisis.
What we have in Saskatchewan and Alberta is second class leadership when it comes to covid.
