When a worrying number of friends literally tell you they would take a bullet rather than get a vaccination for Covid protection then just maybe there is a pretty serious problem out there.

Its becoming obvious there is No Tolerance by Some limited number of People on Some Issues extending Well beyond a Yet Unchecked Pandemic.

No one can help those people but themselves. The reasonable attempts have all been tried and I'm afraid... Have failed for that minority.
As has been mentioned; time will tell and history will provide some further comment on who might be responsible for whatever outcome eventually happens.
In the meantime there will be calls for simply converting to building hospitals; distracting to red meat issues; pandering to religious beliefs and bigotry votes and all but calling for silencing everything but thoughts from extremist violent commentors.

Interesting, reflecting on this; Australia is attempting to defeat Covid19 by stopping this pandemic by isolation... instead of vaccination... which requires even more 'draconian' measures: lockdowns, etc.

The failure of 'liberals' to understand mRNA vaccine issues; while hypocritically insisting on legalizing assisted suicide and publicly funded abortions... does stretch the 'feel good' 'religion' and morality to a new stage of radical levels. No different than former President Bush Jr [instigator of the Iraq war] saying on Sept. 11 2021 that Jan 6 2021 republicans [Trump and his supporters] who marched on D.C. were the same as the 9/11 terrorists that took down the twin towers in New York etc. [and the Irony of blaming Trump for the Afgan US withdrawal debacle]

Paradoxes of this new age that cannot be reconciled... and cannot end well: i.e.. the NWO Covid19 Reset...[Biden Obama Iran Nuc Deal]

I have very low expectation for the results and outcome of the upcoming Cal recall election; and Canadian Federal Election: this 'warped woke mentality' seems to have infected a whole generation...

I noticed all the people who were protesting in front of hospitals yesterday looked healthy, so no need for them to go inside for now.
I didn't see any shots of the protesters in ICU holding up signs, maybe the signs were just too heavy.
Would it be rude to ask the nurse to hold up the sign for you.

Interesting post, "oneoff".

It raises these two questions:

1) Do you maintain that your brand of religion should be tolerated by those who don't agree with it?

and

2) Do you believe that a woman should have the right of choice for what she does with or puts into her own body?
