I quickly looked over the PAMI test of the X9 vs the Claas 8800. At first I couldn’t understand why the 8800 was used until I got to the specifications and I saw the X9 had 603 hp and the Claas 610 hp. Anyway according to PAMI the X9 was harvesting just over 40 acres per hour of Viewfield wheat yielding 102 bushels per acre. Did you find in the real world you could harvest that many acres per hour? Doing the math with a 50 foot header you would be travelling over 6.5 mph, that would take some fairly ideal conditions.

That the smaller X9 1000 the 1100 is better than Class.

We’re going 45 from our 40 fts we now have.

The s790s will be replaced with the X9 it’s like the cts and 9600 you just move with the system.

Yes the 50 ft header is awesome can cut very well 6.5 mph is moving.

      5 mph is our speed

We are going to 36 foot headers because our cuts were too big this year. 😂 (being sarcastic).

A 50ft header in lentils? No thanks, I will make an extra round.

          Yields are in.

          Red lentils 25bu
          Durum 40bu
          Canola 40 bu.

Guys who seeded early were the winners here. Everyone put durum in first so there are probably a couple guys that did 45-50. I put canola in first so my gains are there. We used L233 and were able to get seed early last yr before it got discontinued.

Finished the last swath fields last hour was dealing with blown swaths but we’re done now on to last half of the canola crop that’s standing liberty canola.

Deere can make a nice job with MADD Convaves.

Plus 2 minor frost so still good to spray the last section we haven’t touched yet with round up now that it is harvested.

Soil tests start next week one guy I have on Twitter has 89 lbs available N in the soil in a extreme drought area.

Fu k them on fertilizer and say screw you and the increases.

                Fu king crooks.

That is great. My steers only made $1.8875/lb and it took 16 months to grow them. They did weigh 965 lbs. Also there isn’t any herbicide bill and not much fertilizer or or fuel.

That looks like top of the market for steers.
A lot goes into making that happen.
                          Good on you!

                          How do you market them?
