When this debacle started a year and half or so ago, I thought the same thing. Imagine if something bad were to actually happen? A terror attack, a plane crash, mine collapse, bridge failure, you name it. Our health care system and it’s ability to cope with an actual panic situation is frightening.

The fact that people actually condone a vax passport is more unbelievable and frightening than the stupid passport itself. It is unreal to me that people have been hoodwinked into believing that this will work, is fair, is in line with the charter, makes any lick of common sense.

The “educated” , are really VERY, VERY stupid.

That’s what frightens me.

Try this for analogy. If the police pull you over when you’re driving you’re required to show that you’re licensed to drive the vehicle. The license is evidence you’ve passed a test to show you’re qualified to operate the vehicle and, supposedly, not a hazard to other vehicles. No charter challenges to that that I’ve heard of. The vax passport just shows you’ve done something to make yourself safer as well as being a lesser danger to other people. You can dispute the effectiveness of the vaccine but it’s generally accepted to be of some benefit. Some licensed drivers are idiots so their DL might not be good evidence of their fitness either.

Your assertion that educated people are stupid is belied in your everyday life. Look around and see all the things you have and use that have been developed, and in many cases produced, by educated people. No need to list them.

You are confusing a privilege and a right. Its not a right to drive a vehicle. The law states you need to show you are qualified to drive. Thats why there’s no charter challenges. Guess the law may state eventually that I need to be qualified to walk around in town. Slippery slope…..
