    Unload augers

We have mostly 21’ and 24’ hopper bottom bins in our yard. We have a 12-39’ meridian auger which had been good for us but it’s too short.

Not wanting a conveyor, just curious what people are using to unload these larger bins. We have 3phase in our yard so not worried about the engine. Are the Edge Agro augers worth the $$? Thanks.

We use a 40’ Springland for our 24’ hoppers, good auger but would recommend a different engine than what they sell, 3 phase motor would work well.

Talked to a few Edge Agro owners and they were all happy with them. Really too bad nobody builds a 12"/13" in a 46' length.

If your looking for similar capacity, a u-trough with a large electric motor or diesel is an option. If your looking for more capacity and length, a conveyor is the only option.

I’ve got a 12-42 Edge with Perkins diesel. It will easily reach under 24 or 27’ hoppers.

It makes virtually any other brand of auger seem like a toy.

Can load a B with wheat in 10 minutes.

I think it will outlast me.

Could not be happier with it.

Kind of wished I had bought a Edge instead after having to dealing with the underpowered Kohler on our Springland.
