Finished the Alfalfa last night so cleaning the combines today will be enjoyable. Usually I am trying to get them cleaned up and put away with the temps below 0 and blowing snow.
Was the yield on the alfalfa poor, medium or good? Curious. Sainfoin here was medium. Saw some high clover this year in the ditches. Hope you have ample feed!

Guys with 5 to 10 combines still going hard...need more iron or less dirt. If you are not done on a year like this, normal year will be HELL.
Finished playing Sept 12. All harvest iron washed, waxed, vacuumed, oil drained. None is more than ONE of each.

Alfalfa was poor because of heavy plant bugs and lygus bug pressure.

I am waiting on about 120 acres of "kustard" to cure out...

The mustard is ready to go, but the kochia is still drying down. I'll get to it when I get to it i guess. The showers here did little to regenerate soil moisture, but they sure provided the gas necessary to make the fields around here look like absolute SHIT!

                  Wait a second…….. I’m only 15% done………. Neighbour’s are too.

Ma Nature is deciding to keep showering our droughted crop. Kinda ironic isn’t it. Aiming to be done by Halloween just like most years here.

                  The fun continues 🍀

                    Agrivillers ,

                    Deadline

Post your harvest-end date by Monday, September 27 at 6:00 PM if you want to get in on the “First Finished Harvest 21’ date!

That gives you all weekend + to get it posted. Ha.
                    Pars.

PS. I should be giving away $10K prize for the best fly trap. The flies are absolutely terrible this fall. (Maybe I should try washing my feet.) pars

Herc wins with his September 1st finish! Wow. Congratulations. Message me your name and address and I’ll send you your prize. Your postage details will always remain private with me.

Will get it in the mail soon. I mailed 5 parcels to USA today and gotta say inflation is like a runaway horse. Domestic prices much better than foreign.

Thanks for being such good sports, Agrivillers.

Most guys taking the straight cut canola to elevator and taking the $20.00 let them worry about green patches this year.
