Here it was some green patch’s but more so the heat stressed sprouts from late July that are causing the majority of issues . We dumped everything remotely concerning as well . Unfortunately not at $20 , we filled contracts with all that stuff . Not a fun year

No prize here , but we got done a week ago on the main crop , just finished the soybean plot on Monday.
To many things going on yet to clean up combines and put them away yet, other much more pressing issues to deal with first
Just glad it’s over and machines ran very well when we needed them too.
Focus now is family and fall weed control while weather allows

Will get it in the mail soon. I mailed 5 parcels to USA today and gotta say inflation is like a runaway horse. Domestic prices much better than foreign.

Thanks for being such good sports, Agrivillers.

        Pars.
I don't know how I missed entering in this contest I finished on Sept 11/2021. We were done (95%) on Aug 20/2021.

But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

So Parsley many of us have posted our completion dates, don't see in any of your above posts what date you finished harvesting in 2021. I know you can't be in a contest in which you play the role of Drew Carey but it would nice to know how your harvesting went.

I have asked you this a couple of times with no response, yet you do have the time to start non related Ag threads on Agriville.

Parsley please be a good sport and fill us in.

Forage, if you were finished combining on August 20th, that is impressive. Im pleased for you. Regret you didnt get entered in time, but am feeling like a good sport and will send you a consolation prize I think you’ll enjoy, even though you you are overlate with your entry! 😄Send your name and address to me on AV Messages, which will remain private.

Keep in mind I only go to town usually every second week. Hope you will look forward to, and be pleased with your parcel. 😇 Pars.

PS I have not seen your queries about harvesting, but then I have not had time to glean all the topics. Needless to say, I remain arms length re dates of crops harvested.if I know anything at all about farm families it is that when you go to town and get the mail and there is a surprise parcel in the mail, the entire family smiles!. I know I do. Getting a surprise in the mail is my weakness.

I can't except, as I did state in my post I was 95% done on Aug 20/2021, 100% finished on Sept 11/2021.

Rules are rules, even in Parsley's Agriville game show contest. Herc is the clear winner.

Where I grew up honesty is the best policy and "consolation prizes" were never given out. Only Winners get rewarded as that is real life.

Send the "Consolation Prize" to your "Like Button Buddy" Flea Beetle as he has rightfully earned that award. Poor Flea has gotten the shit knocked out of him from all sides the last couple of days here on Agriville and probably needs some sort of band aid "consolation prize" to lift his beaten spirits.

So continuing on the subject of honesty here on Agriville, when did you complete your harvest Parsley?

Parsley was always growing things... hear she is in Alberta now... growing a 'thick skin' is always required here on Agriville! Scary how many folks are being lost right now... very very heart breaking... not when we want to see 'the first one finished'... for sure! Sold some Canola today,,, finished off selling our Sept, Oct, Nov, the last of our contacted Nexera at $21.80/bu now we know what is in bins!
              Cheers

So continuing on the subject of honesty here on Agriville, shouldn't you be pestering "oneoff" before Parsley?

I seem to remember asking you a few farming questions a year or so ago, and you squealed like a little pig you were so offended....now it is completely fine for you to do it?

I actually didn’t see where you had asked me about harnest several times before.
I spent quite some time tonight trying to find your reference to queries and couldnt find them. Odd. Technically, the last of the custom bales were hauled off the fields on last weekend. So I guess that would officially be the last of the harvest. Some potential fall seeding likely wont get done as it’s simply dust-dry.

I’m still growing things, Tom. I still live in Saskatchewan. Although I do visit out in Alberta. Glad you’ve got your grain in the bin. I have a nephew building in your area. I’m planning on going out to see his holdings sometime, so I’ll be along to your place for
coffee. It’s been awhile. Hasn’t it. Say Hi to L.

                      Happy Thanksgiving, Pars.

We still have 45ac of Fabas left... the 10bu/ac kind that have bloomed and blasted off all summer ... need a hard frost to finish them off... the kind you need a stick to poke them down to get them to unload out of the combine hopper... what seed growers don't do to try to have happy farmers... right Pars!

Brings back happy memories of you and John and that Einkorn seed!!!! Almost like back when we were growing seeds in the Gardens of Parsley and Lucy!!!!

                        Cheers!
