    Fall spraying in dry conditions?

Ready to apply fall shot of glyphosate.
Just wondering how much water others use for fall spraying?

Under the dry conditions we have, should one consider increasing water amounts/ac?

Last rain here, Aug 20th weekend, two rains totaling 3/4's inch.

If we don’t get massive moisture over winter
There will be no crop on a massive amount of acres.
None of the forecasts are predicting moisture
Of any significance. Although the good thing is
They are usually wrong but the question is
Does the world understand how short food can be
    If this stays as such?
They’re fuuking around lowering canola price
I waited as hell won’t be putting what I have
Been into canola inputs or acres unless it’s
Over 25 bucks simply because I m counting on
A 5 to 10 bushel crop next year based on what’s
    Happens.

We are doing as much weed control as possible now
Had e enough moisture for weeds to finally grow after 2 months
Still in moisture deficit but enough that we have to make sure we save every bit of it , keep fields clean and give ourselves a chance next year
That and we can’t afford to lose any soil nutrients with the fertilizer price gouging going on now, especially after a poor crop

We just finished spraying all our second growth canola with 24D and glyphosate at 8.5 gallons.

Sprayed all the grasses for broadleaf, can't afford them sucking up fertilizer in the spring.

Weeds are easier o kill in the fall anyways.

Thanks for all the responses, y'all use a lot more water than I would normally use(5usg) for glyphosate.

Probably go with 7.5 and keep it simple filling by using 400grams, we have a decent under growth yet on thistles,,, foxtail, less so.

Unfortunately, we haven't yet got a rain to start canola volunteers, is always nice to get a flush of them growing in the fall.

btw, I didn't know anyone used Imp. when talking spray rates, aren't all tanks referred to in usg?

                  Our case has both..1350 imp..
Old school..convert the US to imp.for spray rate.
