I am gungho in the spring, semi excited by harvest and then eventually just want it off and in the bin and dont want to see it for 6 months.

Yesterday, wrapped up the low spots left earlier in Sept.
It's been a while since we've finished in a more traditional time on the calendar, good feeling.
Now allllllll those other jobs !

Hate combining in Nov,,, we'll never grow sunflowers, ever. Same for flax.

300 acres of standing canola remaining. Hopefully finish today. This field is yielding less then half of usual, but it missed all the July rains.
Our other canola yielded surprisingly awesome, not too far off last few years.

You’re welcome! I do like talking about vintage cars from the 60’s and early 70’s. I know that you had a 68 Galaxie XL from a previous post. I bet you would sure like to add that Fairlane Cobra to your collection! My wife is very understanding about my passion about muscle cars. Dad bought a new 70 Galaxie XL with a 429 4barrel which is still in the family. I know I am off topic but it sure beats the covid talk!

My BIL had a Torino cobra with that massive 429 with those huge valve covers and the shaker scoop and 4 speed.
Didn't stay around long after he got married and had the first kid.
Hard car to keep tuned for road trips with stiff gears and solid lifters.
Orange and black beauty worth big bucks today.

                  I put a 429 in 1977 pickup with a 4 speed, that was fun.
