Do you care to share with the congregation you and your wife's vaccination status. Because according to half the posters here, all the vaccinated should be sterile by now...
So it is either a miracle, or else you are our last Hope for humanity.
      Thanks AF5
Somehow covid creeps into everything………. Both of us got our shots lately and magnets don’t jump from the fridge to my arm so I think I’ll be ok. As for being sterile…………… not a concern at this point in time😉

How’s harvest going down there for you?

        Thanks Bucket

Just finished swathing for the year and started threshing canola tonight. Finding good help out here in the sticks is tricky so we’re creating our own “labour”. Happens to be a very long term plan and both parties are enjoying it thoroughly.

My folks never made us do anything on the farm but I’m sure grateful they let us do almost anything we wanted. Heck how many teenagers ask for and get a bag of corn seed for Christmas?

        Fun times🍀

You sir , helping out neighbours like clock work , are just one classy individual.

Your understanding of agriculture, community, and economy and how they work together is second to none. We really need more like you on boards. That will raise their voice and call bullshit.

Congratulations Woodland. With all that’s wrong in the world today it is refreshing to see that there are some beautiful things in life that we sometimes forget to be thankful for. Your young growing wonderful family gives this old guy a smile every time you post a picture or describe your adventures with them. Thank you for that and keep up the good work 😊

52nd year on a combine wrapped up, top 10 in profit, top 1 in grief less, let climate change roll.

I got 54 years, started on a IH 403, how about you?

Yes top prices this year, in 1967 I think wheat was under $1. 18 bu/acre, weeds, little fertilizer used.

It was my 42 crop started with my grandfather and Dad with two 55 JD Combines in 1979. The best year to start and by the mid-80s you were wondering why? With the CWB needed a permit book to sell but we were into Flax and Canola back then. Had Relatives in StarCity and Nipawin so were really early growing canola or ****seed.

We always go, help family and friends, why not it's fun do you really have that much other stuff to do. Should have almost a month now left to harrow and kelly and yes even used the new Degelman disc harrow.

Looking to buy a pontoon for Florida to chase Gators and relax Lake Alfred is a nice area. Joe Open the border.

                              the new Degelman disc harrow.

I seen that years ago sitting across from the Regina plant , phoned about it , then it got back burnered for a few years.

Let us know how it works ...maybe I could dump the heavy harrows and pro till on one machine.

I'm curious how it works because yes you can heavy disc low areas and make black but then if it's wet winter and spring you won't seed because they are to soft. Now if you followed the disc with this on the whole field it mixes straw up leaves some and seals the ground for winter plus levels out. Straw is a problem is after 39 crops of direct seeding.
