Congratulations Woodland. With all that’s wrong in the world today it is refreshing to see that there are some beautiful things in life that we sometimes forget to be thankful for. Your young growing wonderful family gives this old guy a smile every time you post a picture or describe your adventures with them. Thank you for that and keep up the good work ðŸ˜Å

Yes top prices this year, in 1967 I think wheat was under $1. 18 bu/acre, weeds, little fertilizer used.

It was my 42 crop started with my grandfather and Dad with two 55 JD Combines in 1979. The best year to start and by the mid-80s you were wondering why? With the CWB needed a permit book to sell but we were into Flax and Canola back then. Had Relatives in StarCity and Nipawin so were really early growing canola or ****seed.
We always go, help family and friends, why not it's fun do you really have that much other stuff to do. Should have almost a month now left to harrow and kelly and yes even used the new Degelman disc harrow.
Looking to buy a pontoon for Florida to chase Gators and relax Lake Alfred is a nice area. Joe Open the border.

I'm curious how it works because yes you can heavy disc low areas and make black but then if it's wet winter and spring you won't seed because they are to soft. Now if you followed the disc with this on the whole field it mixes straw up leaves some and seals the ground for winter plus levels out. Straw is a problem is after 39 crops of direct seeding.
