Funny, I happen to agree with lots of Flea Beetle's thoughts on this thread but our thoughts on covid are polar opposites so it is hard to offer support. Human nature o guess.

Trump and covid just sent some guys over the edge and they never came back.

I have news for wheel. There are thousands of farmers on multi generation land. Some have taken it over paying rent to own, others have levered up smallish spreads into much bigger operations. We would have a lot fewer farmers without that initial leg up.

Farming is a generational game and that shouldnt be frowned upon. If you can go start your own slice of heaven from scratch, good on you. I know a lot of guys who retired who didnt have enough land to get a kid in the operation.
