We need to start charging people every time the go to see a doctor, clinic or ER, wouldn’t have to be much but enough to stop people from using the system unnecessary. Even $5-$10 for seeing a doctor and $40 to the ER might help free up our medical system. These charges would have to be like a deductible where the user cannot get back that money thru insurance, welfare, medical plans and would apply to everyone whether their black, white, yellow, metis, indigenous or any other race, religion or political stripe. I truly believe it would help free up our present system.

It allows people who have an emergency to get treated in an hour, not wait with the drunks and druggies in the waiting room.

It puts a fee on people using scarce emergency services for non threatening conditions like colds and leg sprains.
It allows for an expansion of access creating a demand for more professionals while still being regulated.
Demand will increase supply if not choked by draconian meddling. Think wheat board. Now try to receive certain specialized care in a fair and timely fashion. Why do I have to sell my farm and leave Alberta to get correct care for my son to justify a desire for all to suffer equally when no one has to suffer at all?
If you don't like the way your parents are treated try raising hell and writing a check with the govt. You're escorted out.
Maybe we could all do some research.
I have no answers but there has to be a better way. And no one is looking around. Just sniping from under their safe rock.

Those who sincerely support more efficiency and lower cost options in the healthcare system based on evidence, shouldn't be arguing against vaccines for reducing illness and keeping people out of the healthcare facilities and ICUs

Anyone who does that has absolutely no credibility and has contradicted themselves.

          I'm vaxxed.
What's that got to do with anything?
I went through the effort of unblocking you to read your comment all for naught.
