Choice

I bought some pork hocks last week. Simmered them for four hours. Strained it and added pot barley, diced garden vegetables, fresh mushrooms and hot hot fresh garden peppers to make soup. Plus a bit of vinegar.

Tonight I took that soup out of the fridge. It’s was jellied and looked delicious. Smelled delicious. I had a choice to eat it as a jellied salad. Or heat it and slurp the soup.

I chose the jellied cooked salad, (aka soup) and finished up my meal with a soft yeasty cinnamon bun topped with fig jam with lots of vanilla in it.

The point is this, everyday we make countless choices, that can improve our lives Or not. Make us smile. Or not. Make us healthier. Or not. But it’s our choice. Grownups in a free Canadian society have the right to make choices. Let’s not lose that right. We’re smart enough to choose wisely. And carefully. Let’s practice some more. Pars

I can speak from experience about disinformation, Aggie.

I recall reading similar comments to yours’, Aggie, as women became inundated with cancer once they were prescribed a regime of estrogen to make them look younger. Get rid of wrinkles. All the while Pharmas and doctors claimed it actually prevented cancer. (It was a costly prescription as well.)

My sister signed up for it. I refused after I did my homework on the current knowledge base about hormone replacement in the human body. In the scheme of things, researchers know little about hormones. Less about the brain. She tried to talk me into it. I refused. She began the estrogen patch. Three months later she developed a lump underneath the patch above her right breast. From then on, she was inundated with lump after lump after lump. All malignant. All removed; one by one. Her doctor regretted giving her the patch but they get points for signing up some patients on some prescriptions. I moved into the hospital and slept in a little cot beside her bed until she died.

I have learned some things about the medical system that are very repugnant. So inhumane. So calculated to make money it defines indecency. But we all get a choice to buy the bullshit or reject it.

When I do rise in anger is when Pharma decides to jab young children. And Government decides to enforce that jab. And I think everyone on this forum needs to make a commitment to stop both of them, in order to support those parents who have made a *choice to NOT let their children get jabbed.

OTOH if parents make the choice to get their children jabbed, then they live with it. It’s your choice and your responsibility to protect your children. Children are too young to make that choice. I agree that is what parents are for.
