There has been a lot of discussion on the Commodity Marketing Thread about COVID, as well as a number of complaints. We think COVID-19 posts are inappropriate on the Commodity Marketing Thread and thus we have started a COVID-19 Thread in the Rural Issues category.

Please note, any posts about COVID-19 in this thread will be deleted. Any account of any user who tries to post about COVID more than three times in the Commodity Marketing Thread will be suspended for a minimum of 90 days.

Please continue to chat about Commodity Markets on this thread. During these volatile times, we welcome meaningful dialogue about commodity markets for farmers.

Dear Agriville Admin and its minions,

This site is owned privately, and thus the owners or admin can run it as they want to.

However, the way they chose to run it speaks volumes about the owners, the admin, and also casts a reflection on the people who predominate here.

Just a few things that come to light after the admin decided to squeeze the COVID discussion off their main page.

1) The decision to apply a degree of backhanded censorship in response to the pressure from a number of uncomfortable posters is a sad testimony to the lack of comprehension that COVID is the single most important happening on the farms and ranches not only across Canada, but over the whole world.

The drought was devastatingly bad for a whole lot of people, but it is a natural, disastrous event that will hopefully be just a bad memory by next year this time. A few good soaking rains and it’s over.

Not so with the artificially contrived COVID crisis. It is not a natural event, a nasty twist of nature.

Whether it was released accidently or on purpose, the COVID affair is merely the utility being employed to change the world into a New Order that will enslave each one who has value to the order. And it is being enabled by each and every one who complacently accepts what is happening and cooperates with it.

There may well be nothing that can be done at this point to stop the greater plague – that of malicious forces at work controlling every move government is making.

So trying to push it into obscurity is not going to help anyone at all – you’re going to be confronted with reality in a manner much more harsh than a few disputes on an “ag” forum.

You will be brought to your senses.

2) The pressure (from readers) to move or obstruct the open discussion of COVID shows a stunning lack of will power to not click on a title! No one is holding a gun to your heads. You buncha p*ssies!

This is simply astounding coming from a bunch of mostly seasoned farmers and ranchers who have to practice a helluva lot more self-discipline than they show here if they want to stay in a tough business that doesn’t cater to their every lil sensitivity!

It is beyond belief that the objectors can’t stop from reading what they don’t want to see!

But here’s the tough reality on the other side of that coin – you’re going to damn well pay attention to the marching orders you get as this totalitarian regime furthers its agenda not only onto your piece of dirt, but onto your screen in an unavoidable manner.

And it is guaranteed that you will not like it. And just as sure that you will have no choice in the matter.

3) The Admin has shown a startling lack of backbone by caving to the supporters of censoring speech. This may be prompted by a couple of factors – they actually are responding to the weak-willed-whiners, or they may be getting pressure from “above”.

Only they know.

But one more thing they can know is that every morning when they look in the mirror, they are looking at someone who may suddenly collapse from a lack of the essential stack of vertebrae needed to stand and move.

Cowards, Deniers.

4) It displays a staggering double standard by disallowing one topic on the main page while allowing at least one other issue that is totally Bull Shit and without basis.

And that’s the start of what is shown by the admins decision.

Live with it.

"Commodity marketing" chats may well be at the bottom of the list of your priorities before this is over.
