Nobody really takes this discussion site seriously or think it has much value in the real world.
Ohhhh the phucking irony. Should be lyrics in an Alanis Morissette song

And this coming from the ultimate hyper partisan mal content and full time complainer.

Could it be that the reason why no one takes this site seriously is because a handful of trolls persist on polluting the atmosphere and poisoning the discourse with purposefully divisive off topic social issues.

          Look on the bright side.

At least we got rid of all the wacko rabid antivaxers and covidiot posts that have been relegated to obscurity on a very quiet thread where than can do less harm! Perhaps some of their enablers should join them?

Thanks Admin. I think we are making progress.

AND YOU will no longer START threads to SCARE the crap out of otherwise happy, satisfied, intelligent thinking farmers!

            Good riddance!

              As I suspected.

The self righteous ignoramus on the left think that these are rules for thee, but not for me.
They don't realize that they are as much of the problem as anyone who presents the opposite view.
THey think this is a way to silence their opposition, and as Agstar already proved, they will be the willing enablers reporting transgressions, while carrying on as usual with their own campaign.
It will be priceless when the admin actually fulfill their promise.

No way. It is a desire of those who like the commodity marketing page to keep it for ag related thinking. Those who have such a burning desire to constantly debate and discuss COVID related topics need to have a place they can have their free for all but the rest of us interested in ag topics can do so in peace from the covid idiots. The thing is that the 80 % or so that have been vaccinated have moved on and those anti vaxors and guys like chuck who take delight in pocking you guys cannot have a meaningful debate because both sides give no ground. We are not the law of the jungle here. I have seen enough nut jobs show up at public meetings and if the meeting is chaired by someone with good knowledge of the Roberts rule of order, discussion is orderly and doesn't turn into a gong show.

The irony - You nicely affirmed much of what I said.

While you're here, jamesb, are you free to tell us who was forcing you to read threads in which you have no interest? Or are you still under duress and not allowed to answer the question?

                  You really should report them.

Or just admit that what was said above is correct.

To be honest, I really didnt read them beyond see the continual bickering and the major players involved. The number of covid threads is large. You seem to think its your duty to force me to read crap unrelated to agriculture. I will talk to you about ag any time. I have lots of family from Ontario and one with a sugar bush and enjoy your discussion on things like that. Those large old dairy barns are a rare site out west these days. My grandfather farmed down there and its a good thing to be in touch with other farmers in different parts of Canada and the world. I value good ag discussion.

That I am trying to force you to read anything is an untruth. A fallacy that you surmised.

Sorry to be the one to break this to you, my friend, but not only are you up against Big Pharma, you are also battling Big Tech.

Cuz just like Big pharma is running the highly successful and divisive Major Health Scaremongering Campaign, Big Tech is successfully channeling all revenues and thought processes into their preferred interests.

Looks like your friend chunkie is able to leverage his interests quite well and you will definitely feel it here.

Enjoy the bitter fruit of censorship, AB5.

Except no one is being censored. No one is deleting your posts or telling you what you can and can't say in your posts. Simply enforcing that they are posted in the relevant category.
This would be like going to your favorite store everyday and parking in the handicap or expectant mother's parking spot at the bed bath & beyond. Well the poor invalid grandmothers have to walk a quarter of a mile across the parking lot as a result.
So the management tows your car for free from the invalid parking spot to the appropriate parking spot. Rather than losing your business by telling you you can't come, and losing the invalids and expectant mothers business because they can't walk all the way across the parking lot.
But after towing your vehicle 3 days in a row and incurring the expense, the cost outweighs the benefit of keeping you as a customer.

I will probably come and help you in your crusade against Chuck in the other forum now that it's no longer a burden upon this one.
Everything has its time and place.

To me this just goes to show you have to pander to the ones that can’t control for themselves what they look at. That or the hammer from above came down, media control has a much further reach than many think.
I am quite certain that this came from below. Grass roots members on both sides who want the forum back.
If this came from above, one side or the other would actually be being kicked off, messages would be censored, not moved.
And there is a precedent. When Bin lurking and his alter ego Austranada was posting constant attacks on farmers he's posting privileges were restricted to other forums to clean up the commodity marketing forum and keep it civil.

It was totally stupid having 5 or more new covid threads a day it definitely muddled up the forum.
