Agenda 2021/2030 is very clear. No private ownership of land. And open borders. Even USA can’t keep out the hordes.
So yes, Canadian farms are very vulnerable. And Bucket noted we have no org; no plan plan in place to defend ourselves. Can we have a meeting in four Quonsets, (four quadrants) on four farms to for landowners to meet, bring a plan., and coordinate the four quadrant-plans so at least we have some backup info to respond to the “consulting” skippy is bound to trot out in a Zoom session. “Be prepared”. (Someone else mentioned the Boy Scouts the other night.)

4 meetings. Divide the prov in four. Find a big Quonset the centre of each of the four areas. Ask four farmers with four big Quonsets to host. Be fussy when you pick a host. Invitational only. Pertinent Acts, statistics, tax related info, all links, distributed pre meeting.

There. My suggestion. Rip it aapart.

There is one Group who want, and need, and have influence with Skippy, and who aren’t afraid to scheme, and take your land from you. Of course they are not individuals.

If you don’t want them to take your land, get scouting for a farmer in a bushy yard with a very big Quonset, and a very closed mouth . pars.

Pars, the snitch line and detention center will be set up first before the land grab happens.

The only way to reduce your net worth is to offset it with a jumbo loan on equity and live off it or gift it to your family and go John Galt on the rest.

A wealth tax I can see down the road, but you can’t be serious about the rest of the BS your spewing, communism, we would be the next China. Your spending too much time on the internet, pull the plug and get a breath of fresh air.

Most things we worry about never materialize. The Trudeau/Singh alliance could be kinda scarey but surely the senate would pull the rug out before these guys could go really rogue.

Hasn’t SK Govt already set up retired cops to search and fine, and the snitch list advertising for snitches? Q

It’s time to get some of this crap off of commodity marketing and stick to the subject. So what do you think about the recent run up in oats lately? Is it sustainable.? By the way I’m on my 2nd spiced rum.

What do you think will happen? It could put farmers in their line of sight. Are wealth taxes actually asset taxes? Farmers have a lot of assets. This could really hurt us.

I have thought for some time now that taxes and regulatory burdens will make farmland too costly to keep. So by turning those screws, they won't have to use force to get landowners off their properties.

As land values skyrocket,so will taxes. Hyper-inflated land values are a win-win for government and their Marxist overlords.

It has been a slow, but steady process developing ever since the U.N. formalized it in writing in the 70s. It's called cultural Marxism - we have all been guilty of accepting the insidious changes that are going to strangle our historical free enterprise.

Sodbuster, I hate to tell you otherwise, but the price of our commodities is obviously highly important, it's nothing in comparison to the train coming down the track at us.

Why did Freeland, Trudeau, numerous government heads publicly talk about the Great Reset?

Would you have believed just 18 months ago that we would see normal, healthy Canadians barred from leaving Canada? Or denied entry into a restaurant?

Have any of the ag orgs in Canada shares or submitted or hinted at, or compiled any policy on a rebuttal or a defense against a Federal wealth-tax money-grab? Or ending the capital-gains tax exemption? Or a death tax? pars

You’re dreaming. 😀. Skippy is going to be desperate for money. They can’t even afford the printer ink to run off CAD$ And all the Lib Senators will fall in line to vote for taxing farms with Quebec at a relaxed rate, of course.

Well said. I agree Burnt. So maybe farm-orgs need to establish a municipal tax ceiling, lowered or maintained as it is... and due to Covid stress, and climate change stress/expenditures 😶, to stall or stave off any tax increases. And keep it circulating in the minds of MP’s and MLA’s? I think future tax payable is going to be horrendous. Need charts reflecting low tax rates tied to the cost of inflation
